Miles: 10+ Slick Rock trail was established in 1969 for dirt bike riding. Mountain biking and hiking is also popular on the Slick Rock trail system. People travel from all over the world to ride this trail. This is a pretty unique trail and you won’t find one like it anywhere else on the planet. Traction is unbelievable on this surface. Slick Rock trail is technical and has some of the most beautiful scenery in Moab. A two mile practice loop is offered at the trail head while the main trail is 10+ miles. Watch for 4x4's and other dirt bikers as you cross the Hells Revenge 4x4 trail. Directions: From 191 in Moab, head east on E 300 S Street to s 400 E Street, Turn South. Turn East on Mill Creek Drive. Stay straight past the cemetery and continue on to Sand Flats Road and to the entrance to the Sand Flats / Slick Rock Park entrance (fee area). The trail starts about a mile past the pay station.
