Golden Spike - Moab

It was a good weekend to be in Moab. It was mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain. The temperature was around 70 and breezy. We spent a lot of time goofing off on the Golden Spike and Poison Spider trails. We started at the Gemini Bridges parking and headed straight to Golden Spike. Normally we ride over to Poison Spider and back but we found ourselves having a friendly competition to see who could dab the fewest times as we played follow the leader up ledges and down drop offs. The loop took us hours longer than it should have just because of our constant zig zagging.

Riding in Moab a couple weeks after Jeep Safari turned out to be awesome because the trails were freshly marked with new paint and a good layer of rubber from the jeeps. There were several people on the trails but really not too busy for this time of the year.
