Cherry Creek is the heart of desert trail riding and many local and national desert races. Located next to the Little Sahara Sand Dunes there are literally a thousand miles of trails to get lost on. It's almost impossible to create a map of the trail system but we'll try.
Terrain is sand, clay, rock, silt and almost everything else but slick rock. You can ride your motorcycle and ATV almost year around in much of Cherry Creeks network of trails. Directions: Coming from the north take Santaquin Main Street exit 244 and turn West on Highway 6. Continue about 39 miles on Highway 6. Turn Right toward the Little Sahara Recreation Area for 9.4 miles. Most riders take the left fork and there's an endless road of places to stage. If you are coming from the South take Nephi Exit 225 and turn West onto 100 North. Follow it out of town about 23 Miles to Highway 6. Cross Highway 6 toward toward the Little Sahara Recreation Area for 9.4 miles. Most riders take the left fork and there's an endless road of places to stage Map:
