Miles: 100+ Near Green River Utah are numerous trails designed for ATV and dirt bikes. One area just out side Green River that is popular to for dirt bikes or any other OHV to ride is White Wash Sand Dunes. The White Wash Sand Dunes are located about 24 miles South East of Green River and about 50 miles North West of Moab. The sand dunes are packed around the slick rock with cottonwood trees growing all around them. White Wash itself is a popular travel route and borders the sand dunes on two sides. White Wash Sand Dunes isn't the only attraction for dirt bike and ATV riders. Crystal Geyser and Ten Mile Wash are popular places to ride in addition to miles and miles of dirt roads. Be sure to check out the maps below and download the trails into your GPS or Google Earth. Camping is available at White Wash Sand Dunes. Camp fires are allowed but you’re expected to clean up and remove all your trash. There are no services and no drinking water. The closest full service city or town is Green River. Green River Is a fun dirt bike and ATV trail riding location. It's over ridden in places but has a fun trail system with a several good dirt bike and ATV loops. 20 years ago this place was only known to the older generation of desert racers. At times the trails were nothing more than a meandering cow path, or so it seemed. Today it's become a well known trail riding area. The dirt bike and ATV trails are well marked and easy to find. Most of the trails are either either slick rock or loose sandy washes. The slick rock trails are epic and similar to Moab's Slick Rock Trail. Suggestions: Here is a 50 mile loop of the best trails. Plan to spend a day to complete it. Follow these trails in this order... White Wash Brian's Trail Mary's Trail Red Rim Tubes Dead Cow Ten Miles Pinnacle (Ride the dirt road East to...) Mary's Saddle Red Rocks or Red Butte Trail Red Slot Kid's East Directions: Headed East on I-70 take from Green River and take Exit 175 ( aprox 11 miles east of Green River). Turn Right on Ruby Ranch RD and follow the dirt road for about 12.5 miles. Turn left into the White Wash Recreation area. Map:
