Mayfield Canyon (Paiute Trail System)

Miles: 100+ Mayfield Canyon is part of the Paiute Trail system. All of it being 2 track ATV trails. It's worth the trip however. This is an amazing trail system and should be ridden at least once a year. Mayfield is a great get away during the summer because the area is so high in elevation. There's more than enough trail to ride your dirt bike plus the reservoirs are stocked with fish so bring your pole. You won't find any dirt bike single track but riding the trails on a dirt bike is epic. The trails are smooth and clear. It's easier to move off the trail on a dirt bike than it is an an ATV or UTV. Directions: Heading south on Main Street in Gunnison turn left onto 600 south and follow for 7 miles into Mayfield. Turn left onto 100 North for 1 block. Turn right on Main Street and left on Canyon Road. Follow Canyon Road into the canyon. Map:
