Today we started out at the south west of Green River Utah at Floy White Wash recreation area, which is an awesome dirt bike riding area. We went North up White Wash and followed it to Mary's trail. Mary's trail is an amazing slick rock trail. It was easy to follow and traversed some beautiful scenery. We found our way down the Red Rim trail and on into the "Tubes". The tubes are one of the most fascinating places I've ridden. Basically they're a slot canyon not much wider than the handlebars of your bike in some places. (watch a fun video) After coming out of the tubes we dropped into Ten Mile Wash and headed north. We found the Mary's Saddle trail but quickly jumped onto the Red Rocks slick rock trail after an almost vertically intimidating hill caused us to think too much. I didn't take pictures but it's ridiculously steep. A couple of us went up but we didn't feel comfortable having the entire group try. Besides you couldn't count the foot peg and handlebar gouges in the slick rock from where riders lost their speed or grip. Eventually we found our way back to White Wash on new trails I'd never been on and can't seem to find the trail names. This loop was about 48 miles of awesomeness. I can't wait to go back. Green River in one of my favorite places to ride my dirt bike and is one of the most gorgeous rides in Utah. See a map of this area Comments are closed.
