Pritchett Canyon
|
Difficulty: 5 of 5
Miles: 18+ Pritchett Canyon is probably the toughest dirt bike trail in Moab. It gets a 5 rating because of the huge rocks, huge drop offs, and huge ledges. It is easier if you start on the south end at Behind The Rocks. You can make a sweet loop if you start at the Kane Creek parking area and ride up Kane Creek to highway 191. You'll have to ride East toward Moab about 2 miles on the highway over to the trail head of Behind The Rocks and Hunter Canyon. Directions: The best way to find the lower trail head is to turn west at McDonalds in Moab and then turn left on South Kane Creek Road at the junction. Follow the road just before you reach dirt. You'll see a concrete building on your left. If you keep going past that you'll run right into the Kane Creek Parking area. Map:
