Kane Creek

Difficulty: 2 of 5
Miles: 19+ Kane Creek is one of our favorite dirt bike trails in the Moab area. It's very scenic and slightly technical. Kane Creek crosses the stream 10 or so times which offers a challenge to riders. There are a couple technical climbs and descends that make the trail that much more fun. Check out Cliff Hanger trail on the way. It's a little over a mile past the Kane Creek parking area. Once you reach the end of Kane Creek you can jump on the highway (191) and head north just over 2 miles and continue on Behind The Rocks trail and on down Pritchett Canyon which will take you back to the Kane Creek parking area. Or you can simply turn around at the end of Kane Creek and ride it back wards. Plan on upwards of 40 miles to make a complete loop. Or if Pritchet Canyon and Behind The Rocks isn't your thing then head up the road toward Moab about 5 miles and take on Steel Bender. Either way you won't be disappointed. Directions: The best way to find the trail head is to turn west at McDonald's in Moab and then turn left on South Kane Creek Road at the junction. Follow the road until you reach dirt. You'll run right into the Kane Creek Parking area. Map:
