Steel Bender
|
Difficulty: 3 of 5
Miles: 15+ Steel Bender is an extremely fun mix of tough 4x4 and sandy road. Lots of steep ledges and dropoffs make this trail one of the tougher ones in Moab. The scenery is amazing as you overlook parts of Moab. Steel Bender is about 15 miles of actual trail. This is a must as it's so close to moab. Suggestions: Include Kane Creek or Pritchett Canyon in this loop. Directions: To get to the trail take 191 south to the 118 mile marker and turn left than right onto Spanish Valley Drive. Turn left on the access road to Ken's Lake proceed past the lake and up the hill go past the cattle guard and look for the Steel Bender sign immediately after taking a right. Map:
